iTunnel 3D Lite number 1 in Italy in the App Store - Press Release

July 18, 2009 at 04:17 - posted by merci

The application of Cloubble Adventure Team (C.A.Team) - iTunnel 3D Lite - landed first place in the italian App Store in the free games category.
The C.A.Team has had already 3 iPhone apps, that they launched on the crowded market of games.
The Apple is running a „separate” list in every country. An application has a long way to go untill the top, but it has to be kept in mind if a region whips off an iPhone app, it doesn’t mean that it will be able to repeat this success everywhere.
According to the oppinion of the Cloubble Adventure Team members, there is no definite recipe for the success, but they have had the experience that if a popular review site, forum, blog pays attention to the game, then it will help to increase the downloads.
The first three of their apps could not reach the same success probably because of the lack of marketing activity.

CLOUBBLE ADVENTURE TEAM
The Cloubble Adventure Team was founded in 2008. The team consist of mainly softwer and hardver developers who have had many successful innovations in the field of industrial communication.
The game development is a childhood dream for them. According to the owners of C.A.Team the biggest motivational factor for them is making their dream come true.

Loving the CopyCat

April 22, 2009 at 17:49 - posted by merci

As many of you have probably already noticed there has been a release of a game which is very much alike our iTunnel 3D. It has almost the same name, except an ’i’ in the beginning. The question of becoming a CopyCat is very interesting from a lot of point of views. Let us share our impression with you. We, the Cloubble Adventure Team first of all would like to impress that, we take it as a compliment, because nobody has ever copied something that he thought was bad.

This whole issue raises lots of questions, which may also be in focus for others (other Game/Application Creators) as well:
1.) whether is there a „CopyCat Industry” existing or not?
2.) is our little CopyCat, an owner of one of these „factories” in the far ex CCCP-Empire (looking at his name it was our first guess) or just a lonesome „enterpreneur”?
3.) how can we, the Cloubble Adventure Team make the most of this „competition”?
4.) this might be a possible „threat” to others as well (if we take the base of marketing - SWOT) in the future, so
a) it means it is really important to think about the „WHEN” issue (when to publish anything about your latest application)
b) what would have happened if the CopyCat would have had come up with a more interesting copy as iTunnel 3D is, or would have had nicer graphics, or it would have released a more complex game etc.
5.) it is interesting to give a thought of the fact that he gave almost the same name of his App, as ours. What pushes a person/team/company into a decision like this? His lack of ideas, lack of marketing, lack of PR, or the fact that we have started to build up followers/evangelists? What was his motivating factor? I would appreciate, if you who are reading our blog, would leave a comment on your impression about this factor.
6.) what will be the reaction of our followers?

iTunnel 3D - Slide into the unknown

March 4, 2009 at 04:59 - posted by merci

Sliding into the unkonwn is always exciting. Please slide with us, with our latest iTunnel 3D iPhone app!
Cloubble Advanture Team is going to release its latest iPhone App called iTunnel 3D Lite version soon. The game is typically an addictive type of game. The ideology behind it is to create a dynamic, trendy action game which has no violence therefore it means no harm to kids but still remains exciting. Its speed, its sound effects, its music, its graphics (colors, visual effects) are novel . These effects are to represent the world of sliding into the unknown. We would like to have more and more followers who are waiting for this game in order to make it a social type of game, which builds its own community bigger and bigger. The game already has its own community, who are waiting for it, not only beacuse they liked our previous games, but also beacuse they like what they have seen on youtube. If you have any idea on how to make it more exciting please feel free to share it with us! Where would you like to slide further in the iTunnel? Into a dripstone cave, into an ice cave, into the inside of a clock? If you would like to share your idea with you, with which you could influence the development, please feel free to contact us!

'Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone!'

February 10, 2009 at 04:02 - posted by merci

As being an ex teacher it concerns me, how kids of our age are being socialised and taught. Not only the tons of toys, the internet but furthermore the phones of the kids (because today almost all have one) may be one of the platforms of studying/teaching/training. A phone is one of those objects that almost all of us posses and carry on wherever we may go. To school, to work, to travel, to shop, to go out. This means that kids potentially have their own "pocket teacher" with them. The number of educational type of iPhone apps, just like the Math Sticker are growing day by day. Which means that the possibility for coming across an educational game for the kids is raising as well. Where will this generation get with all this platform and endless possibility they have? Today I have just came across a news, that a nine year old boy has developed an iPhone game, with which he wanted to surprise his littlesisters. No kidding that the new generation has a different approach to subjects as mathematics, physics, communication technology. The kids of my colleagues have a better understanding to e.g. our game Math Sticker, then me or my friends. The truth is that they are smarter and are improving quicker then any of the adults in my 'neighbourhood'. If kids can improve according to their own phase of improvement, then one of the famous lines of Pink Floyds should be underlined once again: 'Hey teacher, leave those kids alone'.  /Pink Floyd: Another Brick in the Wall/  More lines from the lyrics of Another Brick in the Wall:
'We don't need no education.
We don't need no thought control.
No dark sarcasm in the classroom.
Teacher, leave those kids alone.
Hey, teacher, leave those kids alone!
All in all it's just another brick in the wall.
All in all you're just another brick in the wall.'
